Underground Rave for Utah. We kept the host’s identity and the fact that it was a dance party a secret and still had over 600 attendees including NBA players. We later found reddit threads and meme accounts playing into the mystery we created. Our goal was to evoke what the anxiety of Y2K would look like today. For the website and instagram we pulled from 2 graphic styles: 2000’s spa escapism and late 90’s computer technology.
