Mock Branding
Much of my branding is based around traditional japanese woodblock prints. I incorporated their use of gradients, panelled segments and simplistic typography. My imagery is an attempt to bring realism
to little tokyo as opposed to the perfection of Tokyo, Japan. Within the imagery system are photographs of people eating, walking streets and enjoying one another’s company. My goal was to create a tangible brand that feels exciting and new, enticing to a point where this identity makes you want to visit.
